Resetting an iPod

Just about every time of modern piece of electronics locks up at some point and it's not uncommon for an iPod to eventually get stuck on a screen and stop responding. This doesn't necessarily mean that an iPod repair shop is needed, however, as there is a way to reset a frozen iPod that generally works if a device isn't responding and hasn't been otherwise damaged. One option is to plug the iPod into a computer interface and boot up iTunes. Sometimes restoring the device will get it to unlock. Alternatively simply pressing the top button and the center button simultaneously will release an iPod.
